DANIEL KOECK
In addition to his law studies, Daniel Köck is a self-employed professional rider with a focus on dressage in Tyrol. At the age of 11 he started taking riding lessons at a local riding school once a week. At the age of 18 he got his current successful horse “Zuckerbube” as a riding participation. Together they achieved victories and placings from class A to class S * in just three seasons. Meanwhile they are happy about 3 medals at the Tyrolean individual and team championships in the general class, as well as placements up to class S ***.
ANNA MERVELDT
Who does not know the successful duo – the Irish Olympic rider and “Esporim”?
Anna Merveldt rides Childèric’s saddle out of conviction and is one of our VIP professional partners.
With “Esporim” she caused a sensation at the Salzburg Grand Prix in December 2019. Shortly before that, she took a sensational 5th place in the Grand Prix Special with the Lusitano gelding at the Munich Indoors.
He is not only an internationally known professional in jumping saddle, but also the operator of the oldest private stallion station in Malching in Lower Bavaria. At the stallion shows there, visitors from home and abroad crowd to get an idea of the impressive horses and to think about future matings. Johannes Holzeder insists on presenting one or the other stallion in the course, who sails over the obstacles with ease and joy.
Let’s start with a highlight: The breathtakingly beautiful freestyle at the CHIO in Aachen 2019. Gracefully and perfectly ridden on the 12-year-old stallion “Bartlgut’s Quebec”. In Childéric’s saddle, the Austrian achieved a dream result with a sensational third place!
Ulrike Prunthaller is the chief rider on the Bartlgut, the renowned property in the Austrian Innviertel under the direction of Edda and Wenzel Schmidt. A special place where not only top-class horses are bred and the high school of classical riding is cultivated – the Bartlgut lets the visitor immerse himself in a special ambience.
The 25-year-old is considered to be one of the great young talents and hopes in show jumping. At the age of 14 he received the Golden Riding Badge. Born in Bavaria, however, his fame extends far beyond the borders. Nationally and internationally Maxi Lill was able to celebrate placings and victories at S **** level. You’d think so much success went to your head. Not so with Maxi Lill. Even if the young man is ambitiously pursuing his path in professional sport, in his humble and easy-going manner he is far removed from any star attitudes.
If one speaks of versatility, then the title belongs to her:
Moni Haas is a show jumper, dressage rider, eventing rider, horse breeder, tournament judge, horse trainer, veterinarian (at least with a few semesters), holder of the golden riding badge, course builder, and … and … and.
The native Upper Bavarian combines so much talent in her person. When such an all-round professional opts for Childéric, it confirms our philosophy. The successful rider also relies on the full range of quality when it comes to saddles.
The likeable professional rider from show jumping has switched to Childéric for years. It’s not for nothing that Andreas Knippling is always one step ahead on the course. At the age of 21 he won his first international Grand Prix. This was the start of many more tournament successes, even at the Grand Prix in Aachen he got a place. Speed and tactics win. No wonder that the brisk rider is also very interested in football.
Big thanks to the Childéric saddlery
Today our new saddle arrived and we would like to take this opportunity to thank the Childéric saddlery for their support.
Since the beginning of our HW dressage training, Stephanie and Luc Childéric have provided us with perfectly fitting saddles, beautiful saddle pads, holsters, box curtains …
With Michaela Schimak, we have a great saddler by our side who always looks after us with her expertise and experience. Our thanks therefore go to the Childéric team for the good cooperation, which we really appreciate.
Ramona found her way out of the joy of horses and riding, with enthusiasm and ambition. After graduating from high school and graduating as a teacher, she decided to turn her passion into a profession. In parallel to her daily work in the family business, Ramona is currently training to become a master horse management specialist, specializing in “classic riding training”.
Andrea John rides Esperanto in the Grand Prix for Austria on an international level.
The two qualified for the 2013 European Dressage Championships in Herning / Denmark.
Andrea John has valued and used the quality and comfort of the Luc Childéric dressage saddle for years.
URSULA SCHULKOWSKY
Is very successful in the dressage arena and not only with your successful horse Riverman, who has many successes in the Grand Prix, but also with some young horses.
Riverman has been ridden with a Childeric saddle for a long time and he feels very comfortable with it. Now Ursula Schulkowsky’s young horses have also received a Childeric saddle.
We wish Ursula continued success in the arena.
“The modern, sporty Icelandic horse places high demands on its rider due to its height and range of movement, the spatial grasp in all its gaits and the fast pace at which many parts of the task are shown. My Childeric saddle optimally supports me in the stability and balance of the seat, which means that my horses can move freely and fluently. ” The sports psychologist Mag. Catherine Gratzl works as a trainer for Icelandic horses in Austria and neighboring countries. The focus of her work is the training of the rider to sit and act. She has been an active tournament rider herself since she was a child, her greatest sporting success to date was setting a new world record in the 150 m pass race .
I am a state-certified riding trainer, dressage and animal-assisted social pedagogue.
In 1980 the horse virus grabbed me and did my riding apprenticeship in the Max-Theurer stable, so I was in many good saddles. Was training manager at the equestrian center Stadl-Paura and, thanks to my independence, I am available to customers and horses with my expertise. The well-being of the horses is very important to me, which is why I became aware of Childéric through my friend and veterinarian, Mag. Martina Simmerer
I have been riding Icelandic horses for over 30 years and have tried various saddle models. With my current competition horse Heljar frá Stóra-Hofi, the search turned out to be particularly difficult at first. He has a very long and sloping shoulder and a well curved back. Thanks to the good service from Michaela Schimak, I am now completely satisfied with the Childéric DI and my stallion is doing better than ever. His step was rated at the breeding test with a maximum of 10. To our great joy, we were able to qualify as a member of Equipe Suisse for the 2013 World Championships in Berlin. I can highly recommend the saddle and am enthusiastic about the quality of the workmanship.
Stefanie Schamne, internationally successful show jumper up to S *
“My horse is very sensitive when it comes to saddles. Although I have always had saddles made, I only had problems with it. These ranged from unridability to timing disorders. When it became clear that my saddle at the time did not fit, the great search began. Then I met Michaela Schimak by chance and was immediately enthusiastic about the great quality of her products. A trial ride was quickly agreed and after just two steps it was clear: This is our saddle.
Michaela then studied my horse very carefully, took my extra wishes into account and the result was perfect. The problems were blown away and the horse began to move freely.
The combination of very high quality products and the excellent support from Michaela Schimak I would not want to miss anymore. “
There are things in life that you shouldn’t skimp on! That is the realization of a long history of suffering, to find a suitable saddle for my German riding pony and, last but not least, for me. Before I accidentally tried a Childéric saddle on a friend’s horse in 2005, I actually bought 6 saddles and unfortunately sold them again. The Childéric was a revelation! This saddle is the first to have real shoulder room. Most of the time, the standard saddles, including those of well-known brands, significantly block the freedom of movement, especially for ponies! And thanks to the Childéric saddle, I no longer had any chafing points on the stirrup buckles that usually press the inside of the thigh.
“The Icelandic horse sport makes extremely high demands on the versatility of a saddle due to its range of tournament tests alone. Whether in the pass race, in tölt tests or when breaking in the young horses, my Childéric saddle guarantees the finest effects on the horse and optimal stability without restricting me on the horse’s back. But the comfort and the unique quality of the workmanship of the product also inspire me every day. “
As a professional rider, trainer of the FT (Félag Tamningamanna, Icelandic riders’ association) and graduate (BSc of Equine Science) from the University of Hólar in Iceland, Elisabeth Marie Trost spends many hours in the saddle every day.
NOW I HAVE FOUND THE SOLUTION! “CHILDERIC”
THE PERFECT SADDLE FOR MY SPANISH HORSES.
My name is Linda Müller! I am the owner of “Gestüt Paraiso” in the Allgäu. When you visit me, you can expect peace and quiet, wonderful nature in a sunny location and beautiful, well-trained horses.
More than 20 years ago I discovered my passion for Spanish thoroughbred horses. Over the years I have gained a lot of experience and made contacts with reputable Spanish breeders. So today I can offer a top class selection of pure Spanish PRE breed horses for sale.
WE ALL KNOW ONE PROBLEM: “CHOOSING THE RIGHT SADDLE”.
The central idea in our training work is the anatomically healthy gymnastics of the riding horse according to the basics of classical dressage.
Childéric saddles enable extremely fine coordination between horse and rider. The cushions adapt optimally to the shape of the horse’s back. The horse feels the cross aids directly and reacts to it fine and promptly. The wonderful workmanship is a bonus …
